      Executive Producer/Creator of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

      Oscar nominee Joss Whedon is one of Hollywood's hottest writers, having scripted several hit films and one of TV's most popular shows.

      He earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Screenplay for Disney's box-office smash "Toy Story." His writing credits also include the runaway hit "Speed," starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, Steven Spielberg's adventure "Twister"; and the feature film "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He also wrote the upcoming feature "Aliens 4: The Resurrection."

      Whedon was a story editor on the top-rated series "Roseanne," and also wrote several episodes of the sitcom. He pulled double duty on the NBC series "Parenthood," co-producing and writing a number of episodes.
