When Sarah Michelle Gellar read for the role of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on the part-creepy, part-campy series of the same
name, the producers asked her back twice, but not because she hadn't aced the audition. "Both times I wore this ankle-length
dress with sneakers, and they were afraid I had really bad legs!" explains Gellar, 20, who nevertheless was cast as the
teen-ager with an extraordinary ability to fight vampires. Turns out the Emmy award winning actress (All My Children)
isn't afraid to show a bit of skin after all. "I wear tank tops all year long--in the winter I just add a leather jacket," she says.
Needless to say, when the weather heats up, this slayer unlayers, pairing those tiny tanks with summer's equally tiny shorts and
wedge-heeled sandals that, like Buffy, really kick butt.
